Micro Magnetics delivered a 1.2-meter cubic 3-axis Helmholtz coil with controller system to be used to simulate satellite response in space
Fall River, MA - March 28, 2016 - Micro Magnetics delivered a giant three-axis Helmholtz coil with Controller system (SpinCoil-CTRL-G-C) to an aerospace research institution today.
The system consists of a three-axis Helmholtz coil with side dimensions of 120 cm, three independent power supplies, an industrial computer and Micro Magnetics' proprietary controlling software. The system is capable of measuring and cancelling earth field. The controlling software is easy to use, and all functions can be accessed and executed on the Graphics User Interface (GUI). The system can generate uniform magnetic field within a 30x30x30 cm cubic area from DC to 100 Hz.
