Micro Magnetics launches Spin-MAG3: an ultrasensitive and miniaturized 3-axis magnetometer probe
Fall River, MA - June 11, 2015 - Micro Magnetics launches Spin-MAG3, an ultrasensitive and miniaturized 3-axis magnetometer probe with a 3-channel signal conditioning amplifier. The Spin-MAG3 features high sensitivity of 7-20 mV/V/Oe on each axis, large magnetic field dynamic range of +/-30 Gauss, linear and bipolar response, broad frequency response from DC to near 1 MHz, and small probe size. It can be used to measure magnetic field down to the nT scale. The 3-channel signal conditioning amplifier consists of three independent signal conditioning circuits. Each circuit is switchable between a fixed precision DC sensor bias and an external supplied sensor bias. The three sensor biases can be any combination of fixed internal or arbitrary external signals. The Spin-MAG3 allows users to quickly implement a flexible capability to conduct 3-axis high resolution magnetic field measurement. The new magnetometer can be used for various applications, such as in magnetic field mapping, scanning magnetic microscopy, bio-medical devices in cancer detection, sub-surface electrical activity detection, non-destructive evaluation, etc. An extension cable (option) is provided for field measurements in hard-to-reach regions or harsh environment.
The Spin-MAG3 is an addition to Micro Magnetics' 3-Axis Magnetic Field Sensors and Magnetometers
product family which includes Spin-Meter3 and STJ-3D.
